Market day.

On Thursday it is Market day here in town. I usually go there to buy fresh fruit, vegetables . cheese fish and popatoes and of course flowers.

Yesterday was a lovely sunny day so I thought I'd take my camera and show some stalls . Everything looks so good when the sun shines, right?

Good Sunday morning Riet, MY word, the market is so inviting. Beautiful photos as well. You are so fortunate to have such a lovely market to visit and shop.

Soon we will have a farmers market opening up on Sat. morning. More produce than flowers. Can't wait.

Have a lovely week.
Hugs,
Jeanne

My kind of market. Wish I could visit in person, but enjoyed it through your lens.

Oh I love shopping at open air markets. (I am not much of a shopper otherwise -- I do it, but only because I have to). But I could stroll all day at a place like this one ... and I'm sure I'd leave with a huge shopping bag full of my purchases.

I would love to shop at a market like this Riet, fresh produce and bundles of flowers would be on my list every week.
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.

I love markets too Riet.
I intend visiting many when we are in France in June/July.
I would have stopped at the hat stall and probably bought a new beret!!
The seasonal food is wonderful - the smells, sounds and colour all make it a wonderful place to be!
