Monday, Tuesday.

 

As we live near the city of Rotterdam we sometimes visit the beautiful older parts of the city,  like this old harbor.

I am not sure if Mosaic Monday will be up again . Mary of the Little Red house who is the host wrote last week they had no internet and power due to Hurricane Sandy. Hopefully they are alright now..

Heerlijk deze beelden van Rotterdamse grachten lieve Rietje, prachtig al de soorten boten en de hele sfeer er omheen.

Vooral de oude binnenstad van steden is altijd zo aantrekkelijk.

Altijd mooi om dergelijke stadsgezichten aan de waterkant te bekijken.
Het weer lijkt er op dat van vandaag, maar de bomen zijn al een stuk kaler.

I usually think of Rotterdam as a 'modern' city, so it is nice to see there are still these old houses by the canal.

Oh so lovely, i have not been there, but it looks like the canals we had a small cruise in Strasbourg, France around the La Petite France. Wonderful buildings and boats too.
